N/A wires, batts, plugs

No more battery on your cell phone? Don’t have enough power on your laptop to surf the web? Please, fear no more. Soon, all power will be transmitted through air! Yes, air. The concept is called “WiTricity,” or “wireless electricity.” Scientists discovered a way to light bulbs through a power source without the use of wires or transmitters. Two copper coils and magnetic energy are used to send power through the air. Magnetic energy is not harmful to humans, so the process is safe. Imagine, a life without batteries, without cables, without stress of remembering to plug in your computer or cell phone. For the broadcast industry itself, so many problems will be eliminated through lighting, cameras, and computers not having to be charged with wires. This will change the broadcast industry through its ability to provide accessibility and ease. As for how the broadcast industry will benefit from this – people will no longer have to wait on their phones to recharge or their TV’s to be plugged in to watch the news or what is happening. Common appliances will be much more easier to use, thus providing a wider outlet for the broadcast industry.
