blueberry, raspberry, BLACKBERRY

A phone that you can take outside of your house? A phone that doesn’t have to be plugged in? A phone that you can have two calls going on at once? A phone that flips open? A phone that downloads music? A phone that can access the internet? A phone that has cable? WHAT?!!?! Alright, alright, slowdown. The evolution of the cell phone has not, and will not stop. More and more capabilities are being added to it that a new phone is considered old within weeks. Verizon Wireless just released it’s brand-new Blackberry 8830 World Edition Smartphone. This phone has a GPS system, internet capabilities, around-the-world service, expandable memory, a media player, and Broadband Access Connect service via Verizon Wireless’ Access Manager. Yeah, that’s right, TV. Now, people are able to access television through their cell phones. They can watch a broadcast whenever they want, wherever they are. Instead of worrying about what time is the best slot to access the most people, the broadcast industry now has to broaden their audience and cater to all those with a cell phone. Television will change, ratings will go down, and broadcasters will soon have to change their stories and ideas in order to cater to those who carry cellular phones.
